UK Tax & Salary Calculator RSU is made by Ankharis Ltd (United Kingdom).
Your pay is worked out on your iPhone or iPad and never sent to us. The app has no accounts and never asks for your name, email address or location. The only things that go online are the stock symbols and dates of any RSU grants you add, to look up share prices and exchange rates.
Your salary, pension, student loan, deductions, tax code, tax year, region and the other details you enter are stored on your device. Income tax, National Insurance and take-home pay are calculated on your device.
If you're signed in to iCloud, these details are also kept in your own private iCloud storage (iCloud key-value storage), so they follow you to your other devices and survive reinstalling the app. Only you can see this data; Ankharis Ltd can't. "Clear all details" in the app clears them on all your devices.
RSU grants you add (stock symbol, company name, vest dates, number of shares and grant price) are stored on your device and, if you're signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage, in the same way as your pay details.
To value your grants, the app sends the stock symbol, and for past vests the vest date, through our server (hosted by Cloudflare) to Yahoo Finance for the share price and company name, and the currency and date to Frankfurter (European Central Bank reference rates) for the exchange rate. The number of shares, your pay and anything that identifies you are never sent. Our server briefly caches prices and exchange rates so repeated lookups are faster; the cache holds only prices and rates, not who asked for them.
If you choose to share your breakdown as text or a PDF, it is created on your device and goes only where you send it.
Tips are optional in-app purchases processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. They don't unlock anything. Ankharis Ltd never receives your payment details.
There is no advertising in the app and no analytics service. The app does not track you across other apps or websites, does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Because we don't hold data that identifies you, there is usually nothing for us to find, export or delete. To remove your details everywhere, use Your details › Clear all details and RSUs › Delete all grants; to remove everything the app keeps on a device, delete the app. If you have a question about your data under UK data protection law, contact us at the address below.
